BARBARA MARIE MINNEY WILL BE AMONG THE POETS AT THE EDITH CHASE READING ON SATURDAY

Updated: Dec 31, 2022

I will be among thirty-nine of some of the best poets in Ohio who will be reading as part of the “2022 Edith Chase Poetry Reading: Birds of the Cuyahoga” on Saturday, May 2st beginning at 4:00 PM. The reading will be held in the garden of the Wick Poetry Center, 126 S. Lincoln Street, Kent, Ohio. Parking is across the street in the Kent State Fashion Museum lot.

I will be reading the poem about my mother entitled “The Cardinal Still Sings,” which I have never been able to read without some tears. I have not taken part in this unique event previously, but I am really looking forward to it.

Please consider joining us.
