Florida and Upcoming Events for Transgender Poet

Updated: Dec 31, 2022

Florida

Marilyn and I have spent the past three weeks in Venice, Florida. We usually come to Florida this time of year. However, last year we elected to stay home due to the pandemic. This year’s trip was kind of a last-minute thing, as least the way that we plan. The weather has been nearly perfect. We stayed in our usual place, and we were able to enjoy the sunshine, fabulous seafood, and visit with friends. During our time down here, I also read a lot of books about Hemingway, which always seem to get my creative juices flowing. Marilyn and I were also asked to be replacement speakers and tell our story at an online sexuality training workshop. And, I continued to attend Maria Nazos’ intensive poetry workshop.
