My Award-Winning Poetry Collection "If There's No Heaven" is Now Available Directly from Me

Copies of my poetry collection, "If There's No Heaven," may now be purchased directly from me. The cost is $12.00 plus $5.00 for postage and handling. You may contact me through this website or by emailing me at ronzel334@gmail.com

My book was the winner of the 2020 Poetry Is Life Book Award, and it also was included on the Akron Beacon Journal's list of the best Northeast Ohio books in 2020. It was published in May of last year during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, and so many opportunities including the planned launch party, were lost. I am most grateful for the media coverage I did have in the Cleveland Scene, the Devil Strip, and the Akron Beacon Journal. However, I decided that I needed to exercise more control over the sale of my book.

"If There's No Heaven" chronicles a very personal journey, is largely autobiographical, and chronicles the first two years of my life as a woman after repressing my true gender identity for over 60 years. The poems in the collection are raw, clear, and authentic and display my strengths, honesty, vulnerability, and hope.

However, my poetry is not just for individuals who are transgender. Many cisgender individuals who have read the poems, have told me how they resonated with them and how they related to them in their own lives, which is most gratifying.
