Updated: Dec 31, 2022

The Inside Out Trans Art Project will again be on exhbit at The Fitton Center for Creative Arts in Hamilton, Ohio. The Exhibit will run from June 4th through June 23rd, 2022. The Gallery is located at 101 S. Monument Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Gallery hours are 12 - 7PM Monday through Thursday and 1-- 5PM on Friday.

“InsideOut: An Affirming Epiphany” is a project of SOS ART in collaboration with Jay DeFazio. I am both a Participating Self Portrait Artist and a Participating Poet. The Project was a unique opportunity for transgender or non-binary individuals to express how they see themselves by creating a self-portrait. The self-portraits were then paired wih poets, who wrote accompanying poems. In looking back at my self-portrait, I realize now that my self-portrait did not portray how I actually saw myself at the time, but rather how I wish that I saw myself.

The Exhibit is well worth a road trip to Hamilton.
